  Rob Nicholls is the Chairman of the Board and was appointed to the Cuscal Board in October 1997. He is also the Chairman of the Director Nomination Committee and member of the Board Governance Committee, the CEO Succession Committee and an ex officio member of the Board Audit Committee.

  He is the Deputy to the Managing Director, Credit Union Australia Limited and has 26 years experience in finance industry management - 17 years of which was gained with credit union service organisations.

• John Gilbert

  John Gilbert is the CEO of Cuscal and has been a director of the Board since November 2000. He is also an ex officio member of the Board Governance Committee.

  Experience:
  Prior to his role with Cuscal, he was the Chief Executive, Members Australia Credit Union Limited (now mecu Limited) for 4 years.

  In addition to this he has held roles in the banking sector with Midland Bank, Victoria and also spent 6 years as a Director and CEO of Victorian Financial Institutions Commission and 6 years as a Director of Northwest Healthcare Network.

  John Baistow was appointed to the Board in November 2002. He is a member of the Board Audit Committee and is also Chairman of Credit Union Foundation Australia Pty Limited.

  John has spent 6 years as a credit union chairman and has served a total of 19 years as a credit union Director. John also has 6 years experience as a Director of a credit union service organisation.

  Peter Evers was appointed to the Board in November 2005. He is a member of the Board Governance Committee, Board Risk Committee, and the CEO Succession Committee.

  He has gained 20 years of experience with credit unions and served for 6 years as a Director of Credit Union Financial Support System Ltd. Peter also has 12 years experience as a Director of CU Technology Development Ltd.

  9 years as Executive Director, Head of Marketing & Business Development of Macquarie Bank. 5 years Head of Corporate Affairs, ING (formerly Mercantile Mutual Life Insurance Co. Ltd).

  Merran Kelsall is the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee. She was appointed to the Board in December 2001.

  She has 17 years experience as a Chartered Accountant in public practice and 21 years experience as a company Director of various organisations.
